Nestled in the heart of Michigan’s Tri-Cities region, Bay Valley Resort has been a cherished destination since its founding in 1973. Built on 200 acres of gentle rolling fairways, wooded landscapes, and peaceful lake views, the resort quickly became known for its welcoming atmosphere, classic Midwest hospitality, and a golf course that drew players from across the state. Over the decades, Bay Valley has served as a gathering place for weddings, celebrations, corporate retreats, and generations of families seeking connection, comfort, and memorable experiences.

A Classic Bay City Icon, Reimagined

Built in the 1970s, Bay Valley Resort quickly became one of Bay County’s signature destinations, known for its Sheraton heritage, its original 18-hole championship golf course, and its welcoming atmosphere for golfers, travelers, and locals alike. Set in Frankenlust Township just minutes from Bay City, the resort was a beloved gathering place for upscale weddings, community celebrations, and memorable weekends on the greens.

Today, Bay Valley stands at the intersection of rich history and modern revitalization. With ongoing restoration efforts and a renewed commitment to enhancing the property, the resort continues to honor its legacy while looking boldly toward the future.
